An energetic amalgamation of catchy music, lyrics, infectious dance moves, interaction and the breaking down of barriers is what Hot Potato Roving Band is all about. Although difficult to describe their genre, they continue to compile their arsenal of songs inspired by Pop, Funk, Ska and Reggae, binding them by the classic instrumentation of New Orleans brass bands.

Kim Girdlestone, is a Sydney based singer/songwriter. Distinguished by her rich, distinct and emotive voice, Kim hits the crossroads of Soul, Blues and Folk. Her music alternates between highlights of daisy-chain yellows and lowlights of  battlefield blues.

They are very active in our local community and some of their students have even gone on to perform all over the globe! If you think you or someone in your family has a nack for singing or music, give them a call or look them up! Some of their students will be providing some live music at Love Local!

Arrowbird is the new music project of singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Ray Vavasis.

Her tantalising, multi-layered vocals journey through orchestral, choral and bassy electronic textures. With a likeness to Björk and Aurora, Arrowbird pays homage to her multi-ethnic background with an electric fusion of Middle Eastern, Greek and contemporary experimental sounds.

Formerly the lead singer and co-writer of Sydney's disbanded 'The Sweet Apes',

Ray was known for her strong vocal performance and energy on stage. With the desire for more experimental and independent endeavours, Ray has spent the last few years transforming her acoustic demos into fully realised songs.
